DETEX ECL230D Battery-Powered Alarmed Exit Control Lock with Short Bar - Secure Door Access for Commercial Buildings & Emergency Exits

The CRL DETEX ECL230D Exit Control Lock with Short Bar is a code compliant, battery alarmed, rugged dead bolt panic device with a steel plate and photo-luminescent sign providing managed security and a 100 decibel alarm for secondary exits. The alarm is powered by a 9 volt battery which is included in the package. The attack resistant design withstands over 2200 lbs. (998 kg) of outside pull force, and the dead bolt is saw resistant. NOTE: Cylinder and Bar Guard sold separately. This non-handed lock accepts 5-pin through 7-pin standard and interchangeable core rim cylinders. Locking and unlocking the deadbolt always arms and disarms the alarm, but resetting the alarm can only be accomplished with a control key. Cylinder and bar guard sold separately. Durable steel plate with photo-luminescent sign absorbs light to later "glow in the dark" when lights are dimmed. This easy-to-install, durable and reliable alarm device provides a simple operation that everyone understands. Fits standard door thicknesses 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" (44 to 57 mm).
