I was a little concerned because the pins weren't exactly the same between the OEM unit and the new one, but it has been in about a week now and works great. This is not a small undertaking to replace though, by any means. Once the inner door panel is off, you have to remove the screws that hold the metal skin, and drill three 1/4" OD rivets (two on the left and one in the upper right) to get the inner skin to come off of the window track bars enough to get inside the door. You also have to remove the outer door handle, the pushbutton entry keypad, and the screws that hold the latch assembly just to be able to get the unit to drop down and unplug the electrical connectors. Once that is done, you can carefully rotate the assembly around the window track and remove it from the door. The lock rods have some fragile plastic clips that have to be removed and transferred to the new unit and then you have to reverse everything to reinstall it.I recommend ordering the plastic clips for the inner door panel because they do break sometimes. Also have some 1/4" (or 6.3 mm) rivets on hand with a HD rivet gun that can handle reinstalling them. I found those at Harbor Freight. Aluminum rivets will probably be easier to drill in the future than the steel ones. Take your time to line everything back up well.
