Major pain to install and seems to work well after installation.I replaced a keyed lever Baldwin lock with this keypad lever Schlage as they both use the same key blanks.Getting the wiring to have a pathway that did not kink the wires was not be done. The drawing shows the connector happily residing under a clip. The wiring seems like an afterthought rather than an intelligent design.Getting the inner mechanism to fit and engage with the outer mechanism took so many failed attempts... I ended up flaring out the female receiving end on the inside of the door as I was at my wit's end... Another poor design choice as the inner cover needs to be removed to replace the 9V battery.The default is to return to lock mode after entry.
