I got this to use it on my front door, as the kids used to forget to lock the already available deadbold with keypad. Push the button lock and go, kids are so forgetful nowdays. This is a latch lock with fingerprint, key pad, keyfob and also manual key. Most of the time it is always fingerprint that is configured. It is just another latch lock, but is good. Very smooth, and feels solid on hand. I got other locks too, but did not fit, as the door has a dead bolt on the top and the latch on the bottom. I think it is just the builders preference. With the latch being at the bottom, these new smart locks always a tall upper body and a very small lower part from the key slot. These type do not fit correctly. If tightened, it will start to buckle from the top. So, they are not good for front doors. But this HEANTLE door lock has the key slot placed at 40% of it body height. So, it was easy option for me to pick. Also as there is a screw hole on the bottom part and sides, it really held up against the door nicely in spite of really strong tightening. did not buckle. I really did not want to use this, as this required a different smart app, which will be another extra app in my phone, credentials to deal with. But fortunately, as I already have 3 more smart locks with Sifely, I tried using it, and to my surprise, I could easily connect over bluetooth and configure it. Configuration was easy, but I had to make all my family members, fingerprint once again. I think this is a suggestion for the app improvement. We should be able to create a family group and add all users to it, so that when I change locks, it will be a easy transition.But all in all, this smart lock works good. also finger print is on the handle, which makes it very unnoticeable to a stranger. Else some locks have finger print on the top, and it is very easy to notice that you used you finger print and later opened it, which I feel may be a security issue, if you live in a not so neighborhood.I am totally satisfied. Some cons I see is, to me the lock felt like it was used. The screw holes seemed damaged, and the front had some scratches. But still I went ahead and fixed it. Some of the remaining things I still need to check are, the inside of the lock, as a QR code, I scanned it and it directed to a different app. As I did not use the recommended app, I am not sure, if someone can still use the QR code and connect to it, as an Admin, but I am already an admin on that smart lock with a different app. Hope this kind of security issue is taken care. But I need to test this ASAP, it this fails, I may need to retuen.
