I learned of Nanuk by watching a YouTube comparison against other brands. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this case and I will purchase more. This is probably the best case that I have ever purchased. High quality in material and construction. I'll definitely be making this my go to brand for any case I ever need to buy in the futureI was struggling between getting the Pelican1200 and the Nanuk 904 for a travel case with my Bose Mini. Having no experience with either I was depending on what I was reading in all the reviews. It seemed to me that i could not go wrong with either case ( the Nanuk being slightly smaller). The final decision I made was solely based on the latching mechanism which seemed to be reviewed as one handed on the Nanuk ( which it is) and tougher with the Pelican.Creating the storage space was fairly simple and not too time consuming. I used the "toothpick trick" which I found in several reviews for both products. This is where you outline the item you are fitting into the cases with toothpicks in the pluck and pull grid intersections before even cutting. I used a standard (sharp) kitchen vegetable knife to cut the space and was done in about 20 minutes.I placed the Bose mini two rows back from the front, the docking station one row off the rear, and the charger under the Bose mini. See the attached photos to see the configuration I used. I left enough room between the docking station and the Bose mini to add an additional car charger ( if I get one in the future) and the space will also allow me to change my mind on the charger if over time I don't like the placement. I used cut out materials to build the bottom up for the Bose mini to allow space for the charger and also under the docking station to keep both slightly above the top.The Nanuk 904 appears to be extremely solid. The latches operate exactly as I had hoped with one handed operations. The hinges function smoothly and the carry handle is comfortable (and padded, unlike the Pelican). And most importantly the Bose mini with all accessories fit perfectly in the case. You cannot buy a Bose case for this amount of money and although there are several other lower cost options available as cases for the Bose mini, each one had some sort of complaint from bad zippers, week carrying handles, to bad odors. For $10 - $15 more than any of these cases I decided it was worth the investment, not to mention this is waterproof.Even though I just received the case today, I feel it was the best choice. If I find any difficulties moving forward I will update Thais review. It was the perfect sizeI used this box to house a handheld music recorder so when I travel with it or go camping it’s protected. Box looks good, functions great, and so far holds up. I purchased the box with the customizable foam which is great for protection of whatever you choose to store in it.Size: In this box I have a tascam handheld recorder, microphone, notepad, pen, and sd cards in cases. Foam protecting each item. Could get two microphones on top of each other if needed.I attached a waterproof bag to the handle for transporting a cable hookup and whatever else I may need. Not too bad for a small compact heavy duty box that has a nice aesthetic. I’m not going to test it but if the box were to be submerged I think you would have some time to retrieve it without getting the inside completely filled with water. Rain or something I think you would be good to go unless you left it out for hours and hours (even then it probably would hold up). Worth the money if you have important cargoThis is a really great case. I read all of the reviews for Nanuk & Pelican cases, and decided to go with this one (I had to read reviews of the bigger Nanuk cases since there aren't many for the 904). I haven't been disappointed. Sturdy construction, a nice handle, and great latches. People complained about difficulty in opening the Pelican latches; these are terrific. You can open them one-handed, and they snap down and somewhat out of your way when it's open. I haven't tested the waterproofness of it yet, but it seems to be solid, and I've taken it with no worries on a kayak trip, on a boat, and to the beach. I'd feel confident if this went overboard. It's the perfect size for one GoPro and accessories (see picture). It fits a CamKix bobber handle and a GorillaPod (one on top of the other), a Smatree three-battery charger, two batteries (with the third in the camera), a memory card case, and it still has a small area left over for extra screws, mounts, and the charging cord. The GoPro fits perfectly vertically, too, which saves room. If you have two cameras or a lot of accessories you want to carry all the time, go with a bigger version of this case. The pull-n-pluck foam is pre-scored for easy cutting, but take your time, plan out with toothpicks where you're going to cut, and have an X-acto knife or sharp blade.Highly recommended case!I bought the NANUK for a Cyberdeck case for a Raspberry Pi. And, it does work for that, just barely. It's built to take a plexi screen in the case and I was able to make one of my own that mounted a 7" HDMI display for the Pi. However, I didn't take into consideration the room needed for the connectors on the side of the display. With searching, I was able to make it fit with different cables, but the display is off center. Should have chosen one size larger is my only beef, and that's my own fault. Great case.I don't want to sound too cheesy but this has been my favorite Amazon purchase of 2020. The price point is incredible, the latches are well made and strong, the material comes in many different colors and the foam inside is super easy to use. I personally use this to hold three $1300 phones and I measured them, used the easy cut foam cubes and now have a case with a custom interior that keeps all my devices safe and secure. I would buy this product again although due to it's amazing durability I don't think I'll have to any time soon.Bought as a case to throw my HX stomp in when carrying it around - it's a full on peli-case grade box, sturdy and strong, waterproof, foam lining could have been cut a little better to make removal of the pick-and-pluck parts easier (I tore the foam on mine by mistake when removing) - so maybe try using a craft knife with yours when you get it... Would definitely buy one again.Great quality case at a reasonable price. There are some good videos on YouTube showing you how to use the pick and pluck foam inserts Very quick shipping to the UK from amazon US.Keeps everything inside safe and securePerfect for my gopro with the foam is a very good priceThe pick-and-pluck foam inside the box does take a little practice to remove correctly. I recommend a very sharp knife to get a clean cut. I keep my cannabis in this box, along with the grinder and the vaporizer. Holds it nicely in place and the seal keeps the smell in. Lockable, so I can add a small padlock to keep the kids out (if required). Small, lightweight, solid, means it's easy to carry and take with me on vacation. Would recommend.
