You will need to mortise the door to place this but no problem for my husband to do with the right tools. As one reviewer said, you will need a separate pull on the door edge since this lock doesn't have a door pull mechanism. No problem. It takes some mortising to install, but that is typical of most of this hardware and the limited clearances.You will need a separate edge pull.Builder for 20 years who has to install lots of hardware.Seems well made and suits the modern styling of our bathroom remodel. These are much, much nicer than those available at the home center. Of course, the quality comes at a higher price. This door will be used several times a day and we will appreciate the extra expense each time we use it.
