I was very pleased when I first pulled this carry-on case out of the box at how well it maneuvered around. The wheels are very smooth and well-balanced. Should make getting around airports much easier than my current drag and roll carry-on. It is also very lightweight, yet seems fairly sturdy. The backpack that I bought to use as my personal item on the plane fits over the extendable handle of the case just fine, and the handle comes out far enough to make it comfortable for my arm length. The color of the case also pleases me, in that it is not as bright as the picture on Amazon seemed to indicate. More the color I wanted in the first place (navy blue). The case has normal suitcase handles on both the side and on the end. The handle on the side is a bit awkward, because it is attached to one half of the case, and allows the other half to sag down an inch or so when lifted with that handle. I probably won't use that handle very much. The handle on the end of the case works as I am accustomed to.I will have to take it on a trip to know how well it actually performs, but so far I'm not disappointed.I went to England and Scotland for a week. This carried all of my clothes that I needed and I was able to carry it on it rolls very well. I like that it has two extra inches of space should you need it. It’s very durable and the nice bright color makes it easy to see.I couldn't find the luggage I wanted at the price I wanted to pay, so I decided to get this in the interim and this medium suitcase has worked really well. Even after a few long flights, it's in great shape. I've saved a few hundred dollars buying this case over the more expensive brand I wanted and now can't justify buying the other now that my color is back in stock. Amazon Basics for the win once again. The wheels work well and the handle is sturdy. I did use straps to help secure it closed since I was worried the price might indicate poor construction. Still zippers are all sturdy and the inside is easy to pack and holds a surprising amount of shoes and clothing without expanding the case.We bought these on payments from Amazon, that made it so much more affordable at the time. I’m glad we did, we haven’t had any issues yet and we’ve been traveling for the past 5 months. The roll great, we haven’t had any problems with the zippers and they hold a lot more then I thought they would. This was the cheapest hard sided case I could find for a recent trip to Asia. It held up well and came home unscathed by TSA and the airlines. It has the double zippers so you can expand capacity when needed and the zippers held on my outgoing flight as the case was stuffed full of clothes for some less fortunate folks I was visiting. If it gets damaged, well, it was not real expensive and I can replace it, but so for no problem.I’ve used this suitcase for car trips and as a carry-on for flights. The size of the case is the maximum “technically” allowed carry-on size. But in case you need more space, they have a brilliant zipper you can unzip that extends the bag making it another couple inches thicker and adds a ton more space. If you do this, the size “technically” becomes too large for a carry on - but if you need it, the feature is there. The bag is hard plastic and will protect whatever is inside, even if an NFL kicker decides to try and punt it.The compartments inside are well thought out, and each has a mechanism to hold what’s inside down, so rolling the bag down a large hill won’t result in a jumbled mess inside, a feature I’m sure most won’t think they need until it’s too late.My only complaint is the extended handle is super flimsy and bends in disturbing ways when fully extended. It feels like the one under engineered part of this product - but technically it’s not really a problem until the day it snaps off.Good suitcase. The leg broke off on the first use. I understand how the airlines toss the luggage around but thought the legs should last more than once! They are lasting on the two smaller-sized Amazon basic hardside suitcases. Anyway, it's still completely usable.Only used once but i looked at many a 26 inch hardshelled rolling suitcase and this one seemed to fit the bill. it's a little bulky and seems a small bit heavier compared to some others i've tried but then, it's a bit larger (more depth) and i wanted some structure and strength since air travel is tough on luggage. can't have it all folks.came through it's first cross country trip with nary a scratch so that was a boon. I love this suitcase and for the price you can’t go wrong, HOWEVER be aware this is not ALLOWED on AIR CANADA. While it fits just fine in their over head bins, it does not fit in the at the gate carry on measurer therefore the gate attendants will not let you carry it on. So basically don’t be stupid and read your most frequent airlines carry on measurements before you purchase.
