I bought these to better secure my adjustable Mopar crossbars on my Jeep JL Wrangler. This is a direct replacement for the plastic flathead cores, and the install literally took 5 minutes for all four covers. I mostly wanted some added security for the rack and my solar panel mounted to it. This won’t stop a prepared thief, but it is more than enough for my situation. The extra keys are a huge plus, I put them on my keychain, my wife’s keychain and also kept one in our safe at home after installing.
