It's being used inside a building so I can't speak for how water proof it is. I can say though, that the instructions are very simple and the lock box opens easily when needed, and sits securely when it's not in use.The handle is loose but other than that it’s greatSo I got this lockbox a while ago and it's been great until recently someone tried tampering with it. They were able to corrode the lockbox so the key tumbler no longer works. I will give this lockbox props because they couldn't get in. Even though they corroded the inner part, the piece that lets the shackle dethatch is securely hidden under a large part of the lock.Overall I think it's good but could be better.Works great! Love the flexible cable, it really leaves more options for what it can be attached to.I use this and hang it inside my car's trunk to lock up the key lock to my chrome rim wheels.I was hesitant to place the order, but I did it anyway.The product was delivered in a very timely manner and with easy to follow instructions for setting up and installation.I recommend this product.I bought five. After a few days, 2 of the 5 are getting jammed and take a few minutes to open. One broke trying to get the keys out. I sent the other back. I have put it like a lock on my side door.The hired help also find it useful.
