They are quite sturdy. Also, I was impressed that lock picking these locks on YouTube isn't trivial.Bottom line: Sometimes you have a tight space and you need a small lock. If you do, look no further. This lock is about as sturdy as a small lock can get.They're excellent for zippers on toolbags and bookbags. Don't by the knockoffs, get the real deal Masterlocks, worth the extra money. I use them for suitcase and rod holder locks. I needed more as TSA cut cpl last trip. Los queríamos para unos casilleros pero pierde algo de funcionalidad el hecho de que solo vengan 2 llaves.Mucho ojo...Seem like a good high quality lock but I had to return them cuz they didn't fit my gun case the shackle was the exact size of the case so it would fit it just wouldn't clamp shut I would have only needed a few more millimeters for them to work unfortunately I can't ruin the case like that so I had to return them and get another size up
